How it All Started

VEVE was launched in 2018 under the Affinity umbrella - a global ad tech group with over 18 years of experience building privacy-friendly advertising technology across the purchase funnel. With six business units operating across markets, Affinity has always stood for innovation and user-centricity, values that shaped VEVE from day one.

Where We Saw Value

At a time when most brands were competing in saturated, closed ecosystems like search and social, we saw an opportunity: high-intent, underexplored surfaces that consumers engage with every day - from browser start pages and app stores to device launchers, keyboards, and other entry points. VEVE was built to unlock these overlooked moments, in partnership with OEMs, browsers, telcos, and mobile platforms.

What We Did Differently

We weren't just looking to place ads, we reimagined how and where they should show up. Our native, non-intrusive formats were designed to blend into the user journey, appearing only in moments of intent (like when someone opens a browser to start a search or explore). This approach gave brands a smarter, more respectful way to connect, and gave users an ad experience that felt helpful, not disruptive.
